71--PATIENT CHAIR

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Emmons Business Interiors, sole distributor to chairs located at Oscar G. Johnson. The chairs have to match existing equipment at the hospital that is currently being utilized. The Emmons Business Interiors is the only vendor capable of providing this service that is compatible with the currently installed system. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer by 2:00PM (CST) September 19, 2011. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave Bldg. 6, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5512. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Emmoms Business Interiors, LLC.
