This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for RFQ - HSSS01=14=Q=0318 for a sole source procurement pursuan to FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed priced purchase order with Teel Inc.; Norwalk, CT 06851 for the purchase of a variety of replacement universal programmers and socket adapters. Teel Inc. is the only vendor which can provide the specialized equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423430 -- Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements may submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the equipment. Responses may only be sent via e-mail to
[email protected] . Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Submission of information does not guarantee this requirement to become a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to not open the requirement to full and open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All submissions shall be submitted to the Government no later than September 19, 2014 at 10am ET. After which time, a Sole Source purchase order with Teel Technologies, Inc. is intended to be issued.
