The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1) with Four Points Technology, 5160 Parkstone Drive Suite 190A, Chantilly, VA 20151-3813, as the only responsible source that can provide the additional features for the Hill-Rom Nurse Call System currently on their FSS Schedule. This acquisition is being conducted under the FAR 13.106-1. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24 are incorporated. The US Navy has a requirement for a Hill-Rom Nurse Call System and all additional components to go along with the current equipment used in the National Naval Medical Center Bethesda and Walter Reed Naval Medical Centers. Four Points Technology is the only source for all additional features needed for this Hill-Rom Nurse Call System. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 423430 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
