--INMARSAT SOLE SOURCE NOTICE

The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Directorate of Contracting Lee-Eustis Branch is intends to award a sole source purchase order to Segovia, Inc. The requirement for Airtime and SIM Cards that will provide service for the INMARSAT terminal which is a vital communication system for currently deployed personnel. These personnel have deployed to locations where they are not able to return at this time for reconfiguration or system change over. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 04 August 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The anticipated award date is 05 August 2008.
