--FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared) analysis system with SpectrAssist software, Grams/ AI with SpecID, and FT-IR Library of Common White Powders from Smiths Detection to support the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) mission.

A contract to Smiths Detection is planned to purchase a FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared) analysis system with SpectrAssist software, grams/ AI with SpecID, and FT-IR Library of Common White Powders. The Microbiology Division of the Environmental an d Infectious Disease Sciences Department of AFIP has need of two Smith Detection ChemID Infrared instruments for a specific project with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. One instrument has already been purchased and two additional instruments are neede d for identical work in additional labs. It is imperative that this data be comparable to previously obtained data and run on the same instrument with the same instrumental parameters. Furthermore, there are no other systems available that can accomodate t hese needs other then the Smiths Detection instrument. Inquires must be directed to [email protected].
