65 -- Intent to Sole Source for PharmAssist Enterprise System Workstations

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for PharmASSIST Enterprise System workstations to Innovation Associates, 627 Field Street, Johnson City, NY 13790-1057. The additional workstations are necessary for the 55th Medical Group to satisfy mission requirements. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Innovation Associates is the manufacturer and only distributor of the PharmAssist Enterprise System workstations. These workstations are the only ones compatible with the existing PharmAssist system at the pharmacy. The procurement of the additional workstations must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements.
