The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to issue a sole source award to Lee Technologies, Subsidiary of Schnieder Electric dba APC Sales and Service Corporation 132 Fairgrounds Rd, West Kingston, RI 02892 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and utilizing the Simplified Acquisition method described in FAR 13.106, the Period of Performance is for One (1) Year and is expected to be September 27, 2012 through September 26, 2013. The Contractor shall provide schedule maintenance services for MGE UPS systems in order to prevent brown out and power surges. Contractor shall provide Advantage Ultra Coverage with four (4) hour emergency response, One Major Preventative Maintenance on UPS, and Semi-Annual Battery Maintenance. The proposed contract is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), but a Notice of Intent. No RFP will be issued.
