PREVENATIVE MAINTENCE SERVICES

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1).A sole-source, fixed-price contract with CARTER MACHINERY COMPANY 1330 LYNCHBURG TURNPIKE SALEM VA to procure PREVENATIVE MAINTENCE SERVICES FOR FBI OWNED MISSION RESPONSE VEHICLES. The mission response vehicle can only be serviced by authorized service facilities. Currently, Carter Machinery Company is the only manufactured authorize repair facilities for the response vehicles. Failure to purchase the identified services from Carter Machinery Company would result in the following: 1) voiding the manufacturer's warranty of the FBI response vehicles. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests in this requirement to this office by 9:00 AM (Eastern) March 19, 2014, via e-mail to the attention of: Montarious Usher, at Montarious [email protected].
