This is a Notice of Intent to issue a sole source purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the purchase of RAM5 explosive environment frame and handling equipment heating and cooling units. This is a follow-on acquisition and due to the unique nature of the product and prior product qualification, only one authorized supplier, Resodyn Acoustic Mixers, Butte, MT, is capable of supplying this requirement. Any purchase order will be awarded under other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
