--Chemical Detection Equipment

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the acquisition of chemical detection equipment. Line Item 0001 - Spearhead Innovations Pass300-H Acoustic Detection Device kit, includes detector, training manual, 110 charger, extra b attery, USB cable, tape measure and case plus 1yr warranty, quantity 22 each.Line Item 0002 - Updates to chemical libraries for the duration of the standard one year warranty.Line Item 0003 - Training at the DEA training facility in Quantico, VA. This is anticipated to be a sole source purchase order to Safeware, Inc. under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5, and under authority 41 U.S.C.253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1. The Contracting Officer certifies the accuracy and completeness of the justification. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (JUN 2008); 52.212-3 - Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (AUG 2009); 52.212-4 - Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items (MAR 2009); 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Condiitions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commericial Items (FEB 2010).
