Skid Car Systems

The following notice is amended to change the Classification Code and NAICS Code as reflected in this amended notice. The response date is also extended to 12:00 p.m. on September 3, 2008. The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Artesia, New Mexico, intends to award on a sole source basis, a purchase order for one (1) Rebuilt Type “A” Skid Car System and two (2) New Type “A” Skid Car Systems for driver training requirements. Skid Car Systems Inc. has the sole and exclusive rights of the importation and sale of the products of Cedergrens including the Skid Car, Skid Truck, and original spare parts in the United States and Canada by letter of agreement for the period of January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2009. Skid Car Systems Inc. training units are already in place and utilized for Basic Training at the Office of Artesia Operations. Re-building the existing units ensures continuity in training and prevents class disruption from malfunctions or breakage.
