ALBUMIM FOR CLINICAL TRIAL. DHHS, PSC SUPPLY SERVICE CENTER, PERRY POINT, MARYLAND, intends to award a contract to Baxter Healthcare, Bioscience Division, 1 Baxter Way, Westlake Village, CA 91362 to provide Albumin 25% in 500 ml vials in support of a Multicenter Clinical Trial, ALIAS (Albumin in Acute Stroke), sponsored by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) at an estimated cost of $ 179,780.00. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 424210. Interested vendors may identify their interests and capabilities to the requirement no later than 3:00 pm EST, February 16, 2011. The Government will consider all responses but a determination not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. This action is under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements.
