GoldenGate Genotyping Universal-32, 1536 plex Assay kit with UDG, 96 samples kit

U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service in Beltsville, Maryland intends to procure the following item on a unrestricted basis as a sole source procurement from the manufacturer and vendor: Illumina, Inc., located at 9885 Towne Centre Drive, in San Diego, California at phone number: 858-202-4500, because Illumina, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and seller of the product number: GT-221-1102 , GoldenGate Genotyping Universal-32, 1536 plex Assay Kit with UDG, 96 samples Kit containing all Beadchips and Reagents that are required to multiplex 1536 loci for 96 samples with the GoldenGate Genotyping Assay, which shall include: UDG. A quantity of 24 unit of the above product number is required. The above beadchips and reagents are required for use on the Illumina, Inc. manufactured Beadstation 500GX Genotyping and Gene Expression System. Any similar type products in function or name that are offered are not compatible with the Illumina Beadstation 500GX Genotyping and Gene Expression System. Additionally, the above product shall allow USDA to use the supply pf 4608 custom DNA fragments that USDA currently has in use in our laboratory for the analysis of 1536 soybean DNA markers.
