Notice# W91ZLK-23-Q-0023 Synopsis: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The ACC-APG Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source supply contract to Alternative Support Apparatus, LLC. Cage Code 4ENB0 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Soliciting from a single source. The objective of this contract is the acquisition and shipment of Quantity one (1) 4x4 off-road ambulance utility vehicle (UTV) with full-length patient in support of US Army CBRNE Analytical & Remediation Activity (CARA) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This 4X4 UTV will provide emergency response to site access areas that may require 4WD capability but may be inaccessible by regular vehicles. The UTV will transport ordnance items, personnel, equipment, and resources from the personnel decontamination station (PDS) to downrange locations. This vehicle has a patient compartment that securely houses a full-size patient litter and seats two attendants and a driver. This vehicle is EMS-capable to extract non-ambulatory patients and allows personnel wearing SCBA to operate the vehicle safely. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 441227. Posting date of this requirement is 27 April 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
