Snow and Ice Removal Industry Day- Tuesday, October 29, 2019

Abstract: The Pentagon Building is the Headquarters of the United States Department of Defense (DoD) and is included on the National Register of Historic Places. The Pentagon Reservation located in Arlington County, Virginia consists of the Pentagon Building, the Remote Delivery Facility (RDF) and its rooftop helipad, the Pentagon Heating and Refrigeration Plant (H&RP) compound, the Metro Entrance Facility (MEF), the North Pentagon Village and a variety of smaller support facilities. The Pentagon has been identified as the "Energy Efficient/Environmentally Sensitive Showcase Building" for the DoD worldwide, requiring snow and ice removal management procedures that reflect environmental sensitivity. Who should attend? Vendors who can provide snow and ice removal services from all pavement and sidewalks associated with the Pentagon Reservation. This includes, but is not limited to, all entrances, steps, stairways, sidewalks, pathways, plazas, pedestrian shelters, parking lots, roadways, ramps and bridges, and snow accumulations from all Pentagon Courtyard (CCY) benches, chairs, and tables. Registration: All registration requests to attend Industry Day on October 29, 2019 from 9:30am-11:30am must be sent (via email) to Tequilla Wheeler, Small Business Specialist, at [email protected]. Submit requests no later than, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1PM (EST). Title subject of the email must be: "Snow & Ice Removal Industry Day Registration 2019- Company Name." (Example "Snow & Ice Removal Industry Day Registration 2019 -ABC Company") and include the first and last name of the individual(s) attending with his or her contact number and e-mail address.
