Request for Information (RFI) Packing and Crating Schedules I and II Fort Bragg, NC The Government is requesting information from the small business community regarding two upcoming requirements for packing, containerization, and local drayage for Schedules I and II. Several small businesses have expressed interest in both requirements in the past. However, after solicitation closings for these types of requirements the Government has noticed of a lack of participation. As a result, the Government is seeking information from the small business community in an effort to better understand the lack of competition among small businesses under NAICS code 488991, Packing and Crating. The Government is requesting information related to the following questions: Why would a small business indicate interest in the requirement and then not follow through with a quote, proposal, or bid? Is there a lack of understanding of the requirement that discourages small businesses from providing a quote, proposal, or bid? Is there something about the requirement that discourages small businesses from actually participating in the solicitation process? The Government is interested in gathering an insight from the small business community in an effort to generate competition. The Government is interested in any input from the small business community as well as questions regarding the requirement.
