NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) intends to award a sole source contract to Oil Price Information Service, LLC., 1 2099 Gaither Road, 5th Floor Rockville, MD 20850-4089 for subscription services and data access. The sole source action will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This action is being sole sourced because Oil Price Information Service, LLC. (OPIS) maintains a proprietary database of specific fuel pricing data. OPIS is currently the only known contractor whose data set will meet FTC's needs. FTC REQUIREMENTS: This requested data will be used by the Federal Trade Commission in performing oversight and investigatory responsibilities of the Agency as it relates to protect consumers and competition. NAICS CODES: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 518210 - Data Processing, Hosting, And Related Services and the size standard is $35.0M.
