The Army Geospatial Center (AGC), Contracts Office intends to award a Sole Source, Fixed Price Contract to BAE Systems for SOCET GXP GeoAnalysis software and associated maintenance, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). BAE is the only company that develops, produces, and sells the SOCET GXP software and maintenance package necessary to run the GXP software. The Warfighter Geospatial Support and Production Directorate (WGSP) of AGC requires the use of a advanced, automated, viewing software application to produce information and data that is accurately referenced to facilitate the production, manipulation, and dissemination of image and vector data. The NAICS code for this requirement is 518210. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
