D -- Net-Centric Enterprise Services - Service Oriented Architecture Foundation

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a task order using the fair opportunity process for Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) Service-Oriented Architecture Foundation (SOAF) services. DISA intends to request proposals from the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services (ITES-2S) awardees under the Army Small Computer Program (ASCP). This competition will acquire the following SOAF services: Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Machine-to-Machine Messaging, Service Discovery, and Mediation. Market research conducted by DISA supports the use of the ITES-2S vehicle to obtain a high-quality solution. DISA is pursuing innovative solutions and encourages other vendors to consider partnerships with ITES-2S primes. This is a notice of intent, not an RFP.
