VitalLaw Subscription

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase order to CCH Incorporated, 2700 Lake Cook Rd, Riverwoods, IL, 60015 for the purpose of acquiring a VitalLaw subscription. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis in accordance with statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. CCH Incorporated is the only source that provide VitalLaw. VitalLaw contains pension benefit resources, including practical tools, awareness resources, and professional resources, that are essential to internal stakeholders to carry out mission critical assignments. Users can highlight and make notes on material, save pages and chapters, create folders to organize favorite materials, and download resources. VitalLaw showcases resources on pension benefits, including guide books on ERISA litigation and law. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 519290 with a size standard of 1000. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposal.
