Advance Notice of Posting of Title IV Student Financial Aid Originations and Disbursements Solution Phase I Solicitation

Currently, the United States Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) utilizes the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) system for the origination and disbursement of Title IV aid programs. The purpose of this Special Notice is to advise industry that Federal Student Aid intends to post the Phase I Solicitation for the acquisition of a solution that will allow FSA to process loan and grant originations and disbursements efficiently and in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, while maintaining the financial integrity of these critical Title IV programs. The Phase I Solicitation will be posted to FBO within the next one (1) to two (weeks), not later than 7 March 2014. In addition, please refrain from contacting the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist regarding additional information on the Phase I solicitation posting.
