R -- Subscription Renewal

The Overseas Private Investment Corporation intends to award a sole source purchase order to the incumbent firm Standard & Poor's (S&P) for the renewal of RatingsDirect Global Issuers. This service provides credit rating information and analysts' reports on sovereigns, corporations, financial institutions, insurance companies, local nad regional governments, project finance, and utilities. Access is via private website and the subsription includes telephone access to S&P analysts. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This is a sole source requirement and if after evaluation the agency determines that there is no other comparable service, an award will be made without further notification. Responses must be received in writing, within ten (10) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to satisfy the requirements. Requests must be in writing. No telephone, fax, or email responses will be accepted. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
