Notification of the SEC's Intent to Award a Sole Source Modification to MSCI ESG Research LLC

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a contract modification on a sole source basis to SEC Contract SECHQ117P0077 with MSCI ESG Research LLC, 250 Greenwich Street, FL 49, New York, New York, 10007-2340 for access to MSCI’s ESG Ratings service. The NAICS code is 523999. The contracting officer has determined that MSCI ESG Research LLC is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC’s requirement in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) – Sole Source Acquisitions. The period of performance for this modification is anticipated to be one (1) base year with one (1) year option. The SEC intends to award a contract modification to SECHQ17P0077 with MSCI ESG Research LLC on or about August 15, 2020. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by the response date of this notice.
