Notification of the SEC's Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order to MSCI ESG Research

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to MSCI ESG Research, Inc., 250 Greenwich Street, FL 49, New York, New York, 10007-2340 for access to MSCI's Accounting and Governance Risk ratings service. The NAICS code is 523999. The contracting officer has determined that MSCI ESG Research is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) - Sole Source Acquisitions. The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be one (1) base year with four (4) one (1) year option years. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to MSCI ESG Research on or about August 22, 2017. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by the response date of this notice.
