IAW FAR 5.201 and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416), the following notice is provided: SPECIAL NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE The Markets Room and Office of Debt Management within the Department of the Treasury has a need for an online subscription that will assist in developing forecasts of key market-sensitive economic data such as: Timely, in-depth analysis of key market-sensitive economic data; Forecast and analysis of Federal Reserve monetary policy; In-depth analysis of fiscal policies as related to financial markets; Commentary and in-depth analysis on economy and fixed income markets; Analysis of major stock, Treasury, currency and commodities markets by a CMT-designated staff technician; Proprietary Weekly Money Manager Survey; Proprietary Beige Book Activity Index (BBAI); Access to "Snapshots" 24-hour market observations, which are dynamically updated; Access to archival research material on our website; and ongoing support & unlimited telephone consultations. No solicitation package will be issued. This special notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 6:00 PM, EDT on 25 January 6016. Responses shall be submitted to Ms. Pamela Robinson. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: 1. The name of your company; 2. Company DUNS No and CAGE Code; 3. Point of Contact, and secondary contact, information; 4. A description of online subscription and its overall capability. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your company's service is capable of meeting the government's need as stated above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
