This U.S. Department of Agriculture Hereby Gives Notice of Intent to Award a Superseding Lease to City of Farmington to Increase Approximately 1,708 ABOA SF of Office Space in Farmington, MN

The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Farmington Minnesota. The Government is looking to increase its space in the current location. In making this determination, the Government considered, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. This is a notification and not intended to solicit expressions of interest. The Government wishes to lease space in an existing building, or in a building to be constructed for the Government’s use. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The space offered, its location, and its surroundings must be compatible with the Government’s intended use. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space and sites shall not be in the 100 -year flood plain. Additional secured parking spaces needed for GOVs and ATV with trailer may be located on-site and/or within 1/4 of a mile of the premises, pedestrian accessible. See attachment for full details.
