10--Lease Agreement for Building 506A and Snack Trailer, MacDill AFB, Florida

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District intends to modify an existing contract on a sole source basis under the authority for FAR 6.302-1(c) with Roscoe Allen Company, HWY 129 South Ocilla, GA 31774, a follow on contract for Lease Agreement for Building 506A and Snack Trailer, MacDill AFB, FL. The Government anticipates extending the period of performance for an additional twelve-month of services through 31 March 2014. Also, an additional twelve months of performance may be exercised at the discretion of the Government through 21 March 2015. Roscoe Allen Company was awarded the previous 8(a) contract which will expire 21 March 2013 to provide temporary office modular buildings/trailers at MacDill AFB, FL. It is considered to be in the best interest of the Government to continue the lease of the existing building. Lease of the existing building will reduce costs by eliminating costs for removal of the building, moving expenses for tenants, and procurement and installation of another temporary facility. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
