Special Notice-Sole Source Bureau of Land Management, Department of the Interior, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Talco Trucking Inc. to provide rental of two (2) 12 or 14 cubic yard dump trucks, without drivers and one (1) 4 cubic yard model 938 caterpillar front end loader without driver or approved equivalent, (the Government will supply the drivers) for the removal of manure and other general maintenance at the Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility. This procurement is a sole source requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposal. Determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. MST on April 8, 2010 by sending an e-mail to [email protected]; however, any technical data received will be for the sole purpose of market research for future proposes.
