W065--COVID-19 Emergency Rental for Alaris Infusion Pumps for the VA Maine Healthcare System

Special Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to complete a sole source award for a 5-month rental for Alaris infusion pumps, located at the Togus Maine VA Medical Center. The vendor shall supply 24 each of the Alaris -8015 PCU and 120 each of the Alaris 8100 Infusion Pump Modules with an estimated 2-week delivery to support COVID-19. Since the intent is to procure the rental of these goods on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The applicable NAICS code is 532490, Medical equipment (except home health furniture and equipment ) rental or leasing. The FSC/PSC is W066. The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901 and is implemented by for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2).
