This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement to FORTEC MEDICAL, INC. This requirement is for the rental of BPH lasers such as Evolve 120, Evolve 180, AMS HPS, AMS XPS, Lumenis 100 Watt PowerSuite Holmium:YAG, and Storz Cysto Setup w/30 telescope to be used by the Department of Surgery/Operating Room located at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), 2817 Reilly Road, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. FORTEC MEDICAL, INC will place BPH Lasers at the facility on rental basis and will also Supply Disposables and Technician Services that work with the above stated lasers. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No compatibles or substitutes accepted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
