The purpose of this RFI is to receive feedback from industry in regard to the following and is in support of market research. Information is being gathered to determine if more than one supplier has the capability to fully meet the Government's stated requirements. The Air Force Medical Service is seeking contract support for various billing and collection activities for Air Force Military Treatment Facilities. Billing and collecting activities are specific to collections, accounts follow-up, accounts receivable, denials management, refunds, and appeals for maximizing the billing/collecting of third party payers, civilian emergency/trauma collections and other non-beneficiaries seen in an MTF. Contract support will also directly support other health insurance (OHI) identification/verification within the Air Force Military Treatment Facilities. Any vendor supporting such activities would be required to have a developed and operational billing system capable of electronically billing for all outpatient, inpatient, and ancillary services. Such a system has to generate the appropriate reports to track accounts receivables per standardized financial reporting requirements. Such a system would be expected to be immediately deployed upon execution of any contract support and must comply with all DOD system requirements.
