RECOVERY - This Notice Is Provided For Informational Purposes Only. This opportunity is available to the contractors under the existing Architect and Engineering Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts for Region 5, Illinois. This is not a notice for solicitation or offers. Re-Commissioning, Design and Construction document delivery at the Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse located in Urbana, Illinois. The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire architecture and engineering services for the Urbana Federal Building Re-commissioning and Design of construction documents. The project is focused on building systems affecting energy use and indoor environment, including shell infiltration and heat loss. It does not include smoke and fire detection/prevention equipment, elevators, or plug load equipment such as computers, copiers, etc. The Contractor shall provide engineering and commissioning expertise to conduct re-commissioning / retro-commissioning planning, identify energy conservation, water conservation and renewable energy projects, scoping, testing, investigation, evaluation, analysis, calculations, recommendations, and report writing services for the subject U.S. General Services Administration federal buildings. The professional services shall also consist of, but not be limited to the following: on-site pre-design meeting, site investigation to determine existing conditions and scope of required improvements, meetings with the preliminary report contractor (PRC), if different from this contractor, review of re-commissioning report for design objectives, preparation of bid documents, estimating construction cost and construction time/duration.
