Notice of Sole Source: Tiller Ranger District WasteWater Improvements - Services During Construction

7/31/2023 - Sole Source Justification Uploaded The US Forest Service intends to award a contract on a Sole Source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The source is Adkins Engineering and Surveying, Inc. in Klamath Falls, Oregon and will provide architectural, engineering, and technical design services relating to the Tiller Wastewater System Improvement construction contract on the Umpqua National Forest. Adkins Engineering and Surveying is the designer of record, and is providing the full construction drawings and specifications under the original design contract and related additions/modifications, which will be complete in June of 2023. The Period of performance of the construction project is projected to begin August 2023. This is NOT a request for proposals or quotations . Oregon Admistrative Rules, in relation to registered architects, stipulates that the orginal designer is the only one that can sign or affix their seal to any plans, drawings, documents, specifications or reports. https://oregon.public.law/rules/oar_806-010-0045 In compliance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) the following statement is provided: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
