RECOVERY - Notice of Intent to award an Architect Engineering task order for construction phase A-E services for the water tower repair in Kearneysville, West Virginia

RECOVERY. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, intends to award a firm fixed priced task order to Perkins + Will, Inc., under contract AG-3K15-C-08-0016 for architectural and engineering (A-E) services. The task order is to provide construction administrative services during Water Tower Repair at the Appalachian Fruit Research Station in Kearneysville, West Virginia. This task order will be issued under an existing indefinite quantity contract for A-E Services. The contract was competed in accordance with the Brooks Act and FAR 36.6 Architectural and Engineering (A-E) services. The selection of Perkins + Will, Inc. was based upon criteria which included the following: overall technical expertise, specialized technical knowledge, specialized knowledge of the location where the work will be performed, and an internal analysis of costs.
