U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to SPECTIR , LLC. 11781 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, Ste 210 Fairfax, VA 22033 for full range (400 to 2500 nm) hyperspectral imaging spectroscopy. Hyperspectral data collection using the ProSpecTIR- Visible/NearIR (VNIR) and ProSpecTIR-Short Wave IR (SWIR) imaging spectrometers is required. The government has previous SpecTIR mission data sets for the same areas and maintains and archives the data for analytical purposes. The government would like to maintain consistency with the previously collected data for change assessments, radiometric fidelity and response, and geometric registration. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 11:00 AM CST, Wednesday August 17, 2011.
