RECOVERY - Collection of Aerial Imagery and Elevation Data for the USIBWC Levee Flood Control Projects

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTORS AWARDED THE ARCHITECT ENGINEERING SERVICES INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULLTIPLE AWARD CONTRACT NUMBER IBM09D0006 WITH TETRA TECH, INC., IBM09D0007 WITH MWH, AND IBM09D0008 WITH URS GROUP, INC. RECOVERY – The requirement is for geographic information system (GIS) requirement for the collection of aerial imagery and elevation data for the creation of digital ortho-photo quadrangles and digital elevation models for the USIBWC Levee Flood Control Project areas. The contractor is to utilize airborne light detection and ranging (LIDAR) systems and orthoimagery sensors to gather the data necessary to create various derived LIDAR products and 6-inch resolution, true color, DOQs, at the USIBWC Canalization, Rectification, Presidio, and the Lower Rio Grande Flood Control projects. The estimated coverage of the projects is approximately 2,625 square miles. Data acquisition shall be during the 2010-11 leaf-off season following award; and delivery within 120 calendar days following the collection of LIDAR data and imagery. THE RESULTING NEGOTIATED TASK ORDER MAY BE SYNOPSIZED AND ISSUED UNDER THE SUCCESSFULLY COMPETED AND EXISTING FIRM FIXED PRICE MULTIPLE AWARD IDIQ A-E SERVICES CONTRACT(S) REFERENCED ABOVE.
