Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Award: JEFO - NIEHS/DNTP CEBS Data Management Support Follow-on Contract

NIEHS intends to award a sole-source, National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) task order to Vistronix, LLC (Vistronix), 11091 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 700, Reston, VA 20190, pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(C): The order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order . This short-term, follow-on NITAAC task order will provide the re­compete procurement team with adequate time to get a new, competitive Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) in place while also ensuring there is not a lapse in the critical toxicologial data support services for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Division of the National Toxicology Program (DNTP). Per FAR 16.505 , the Government is not required to allow all responsible sources to submit a capability statement. However, all such sources may submit a capability statement which may be considered by the agency.
