Network Contracting Office 17, VHA, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a Contract to Lead Technologies, Inc. doing business as Medicor Imaging, 1927 South Tryon Street, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28203 for MiPACS Annual Technical Support and MiPACS Annual Maintenance services for the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, (Dental Clinics in Temple, TX, Waco, TX and Austin, TX) under authority of 41 USC 253(G)(1) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1. The VA is requesting pricing for a Base Year and four One Year Options. A sole source justification is being prepared in support of this action. Small Business Concerns believing they can provide these services stated above must provide written notification to the Contract Specialist with support evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. The resulting purchase will be a Firm-Fixed Price Agreement. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541511 with a small business size standard of 25.5 million dollars. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. No Solicitation will be published. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable and more advantageous to the Government. This 'Notice of Intent' to sole-source as the result of Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1 is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion and authority of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to solicit this requirement as a 'full & open' competitive procurement.
