Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to the firm BAE Systems Inc,. of Reston. The proposed contact action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. The use of such descriptive services in this acquisition is essential to the Governments requirement, thereby precluding consideration by another company. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: This requirement will be for approximately nine (9) months in duration. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
