THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. Per FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source contract to Technisonic Industries for the upgrade of Technisonic radios by replacing old Thales hardware (radio boards) which allows the installation of new soft ware. (Thales version 8.1 and Technisonic version 2.2x) for the National Interagency Fire Center. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and no solicitation is currently available. This notice constitutes the only notice. The Government encourages all interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement to submit in writing, complete information describing their ability to meet said requirement. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative written responses are received by 4:00 p.m. (MST), January 12, 2007, a sole source purchase order will be awarded to Technisonic Industries.
