Limited Sources Justification and Approval

The Regional Contracting office, National Capital Region, North East. Intent to award to a sole source six month extension of services to GSA contract holder, R&K Solutions, Inc. located at 1700 Blue Hills Drive NE B, Roanke, VA under GSA schedule GS-35F-5835F. The Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work.. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or email request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government. The acquired services will be a continuation of professional services currently being provided within the scope of the contract.
