70 -- Integration and product-specific instruction on SAN major components to be conducted at RMSI

The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to RMSI, 3235 Sunrise Blvd, Ste 6, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742 on behalf of Commander, USAIC and FH (Broadband Intelligence Training System) (BITS), Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613 utilizing the Simplified Acquisition procedures under authority and limits of FAR Parts 12 and 13.501(a) “Sole Source Acquisitions”. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 20-04. This procurement is part of the BITS System Upgrades. The objective of this contract will be the provision of the following: 1. Product Specific Training and Integration (Pre-Install/Pre-Deployment): Integration and product specific instruction on SAN major components to be conducted at RMSI facility in Rancho Cordova, CA. 2. Equipment Rack with UPS: MEDIASTORA02 - 40U high-weight-capacity, four post equipment rack, open sides, mounted on high-durability castors; includes Black 3U - 3000 VA UPS for incorporation with SAN in a Can Terabit system. A justification for Other than Full and Open is on file. Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The proposed contract action is for services and supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.501. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received by 4:00 p.m., PST, 03/11/04 will be considered by the government.
