Notice of Intent for Additional Work to Extend Disability Evaluation System Program Management Support

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to extend sole source contract HT0011-19-C-0005, performed by Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., (BAH) for 3 months of service, including program management, analytical, consulting, and administrative support to facilitate the overall objectives of Wounded, Ill and Injured (WII) programs for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and the Service Wounded Warrior Programs and its partner agencies to include VA, Health and Human Services, Department of Labor and their subordinate agencies and/or divisions. This includes: Legislative Affairs Congressional Reporting and Liaison Services Strategic Communications Resource Management and Analytics Wounded Warrior Information Technology Support Operational and Logistics Support International Work Groups and Symposiums The agency requires continuation of these services while it awaits a General Accounting Office decision concerning protest of the source selection for the award intended to replace the services under this notice. As the incumbent performer, only BAH possesses the operational infrastructure and knowledge required for uninterrupted performance of these services on short notice. The determination to award the intended sole source contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible concerns may submit a capability statement addressing the services under this notice, but are advised that the agency is required, first, to use an existing contract for continuation of services during pendancy of an award under protest. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. A copy of a Justification and Approval will be posted no later than 14 days after extension of the contract.
