Consultant services to convene retreat and meeting for the Catalyst Workgroup and the National Health Equity Consultative Group

THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE PATIENT PROTECTION AND AFFORDABLE CARE ACT - PREVENTION AND PUBLIC HEALTH FUND The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a Direct 8(a) award to Scarlett Consulting Incorporated (SCI) for the consultant services to convene a retreat for the Catalyst Workgroup and a meeting for the National Health Equity Consultative Group. The Catalyst will serve as a resource and leader on health disparities within CDC and as a vehicle for disseminating and developing community based approaches. SCI was selected for its extensive experience and expertise in a prior working Catalyst relationship. SCI has conducted comprehensive research on health disparities literature to identify organizational behaviors associated with successful collaborative. SCI has generated the recommendations to inform the structure and functions of the Catalyst. The proposed retreat is a follow-up to the generated final report to help staff understand their roles, and the internal/external functions of the Catalyst with CDC and its partners. SCI will participate, facilitate and coordinate the retreat because of their prior knowledge and work with the Catalyst.
