R--Sole Source Contract for Tactical Program Management Support Services - Associated Veterans

This notice is provided for information purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Acquisition Innovation Frederick, Maryland intends to award a sole source award under Public Law 109-461 to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with the requirements contained in FAR Part 5 and under the authority of 38 USC § 8127(b) and VAAR 819.7007. This constitutes the only announcement; and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Acquisition Innovation (CAI) Frederick Maryland has a requirement for Tactical Project Management Support Services for the Veteran’s Benefits Administration, Office of Business Process Integration. The VA intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the above-mentioned support services. The period of performance for the awarded contract will be 4 months with One (1) 2 month option period, with an estimated start date of August 25, 2011, and will be performed at the following locations: • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, 1800 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20006; • St. Petersburg, Florida VA Regional Office, 9500 Bay Pines Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL, 33708; and • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, 1615 Woodward St., Austin, TX 78772-0001. Award will be made on a sole source basis to Associated Veterans, LLC – Quality Solutions, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, in accordance with VAAR 819.7007.
