PROGRAMMING SPECIALIST FOR 2011 New York City Housing and Vacancy Survey (NYCHVS)

SUBJECT: Request for Information (RFI) Announcement - Advisory and Programming Support in support of the New York City Housing Vacancy Survey Description This is a Request for Information (RFI) Announcement, NOT A SOLICITATION. The Census Bureau is requesting information from Contractors as a form of market research to effectively identify the capabilities of companies that are available to meet the agency's requirements and to determine the availability of advisory and programming services in support of the New York City Housing Vacancy Survey suitable to meet the agency's need. The Census Bureau intends to assess the capabilities and, if appropriate, issue an RFP at a later date. Additionally, information exchanges may be requested from vendors responding to this request. Background Please see attached Statement of Need. Technical Information Respondents to this RFI shall submit a written statement addressing technical capabilities, knowledge, and related experience, in performing the Census Bureau's requirement as described in the attached Statement of Need. The Census Bureau is interested in exploring different methods and technologies to meet its need. Cost Information Any pricing information provided shall be general in nature, and will be used to help the Government formulate an independent cost estimate. Pricing will not be negotiated or considered at this time. Submission of information about any federal schedules, inter-agency agreements, etc. that may be used to acquire these services is encouraged.
