Intent to Sole Source for Available Land for Forest Restoration Globally Data Analysis

The Forest Service, Washington Office intends to award on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c)(1), a contract for approximately $13,000.00 to World Resources Institute (WRI) of Washington, DC for data analysis and revisions to WRI Brochure based on the additional analysis, 1,000 copies of the brochure and a PowerPoint presentation. This work is in support of the US Forest International Programs office. The data being analyzed is WRI’s data. As described in FAR 6.302-1, there is only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a Request for Proposals, nor does it represent a commitment by the Forest Service to pay for any costs incurred by the preparation and submission of data or any other costs incurred in response to this notification. No solicitation document is available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541618, and the size standard is $23.0 million.
