B--Radiological Emergency Management Support Services for Radiation Protection Prog

Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: US Environmental Protection Agency, Research Triangle Park Procurement Operations Division, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source to issue a sole source four month extension to Trinity Engineering Associates for contract EP-D-10-073 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement consists of "Radiological Emergency Management Support Services for Radiation Protection Programs" for the Radiation Protection Division (RPD) of the Office of Radiation and Indoor Air (ORIA). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
