The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures (TC) Program Office will host a Pre-solicitation Next Generation Threat Front End Industry Day Event on June 11, 2019 and follow-on One-On-One sessions on June 13, 2019 in Huntsville, Alabama (Redstone Arsenal). Additional details on the Industry Day Event and One-On-One Sessions are provided below. This is a continuation of market research efforts under the Solicitation (Announcement) Number: RFITCFUTURES080118 posted in July 2018. The purpose of the Industry Day Event and One-On-One Sessions is to present the evolving acquisition approach to deliver Next Generation Threat Front End capabilities and to have meaningful discussions leveraging industry's innovative solutions, processes, and technologies to stay ahead of the threat. MDA's goal is to help industry partners understand Government needs, requirements, considerations, and share other information that may be of interest for proposal preparations. A. MDA Targets and Countermeasures Next Generation Threat Front End Industry Day Event, June 11, 2019 MDA TC Program Office will host a Pre-solicitation Next Generation Threat Front End Industry Day Event on June 11, 2019 in Huntsville, Alabama (Redstone Arsenal) at the Von Braun Building #2, 5222 Martin Road from 8 am to 6 pm Central Standard Time (CST). To be fair to all parties and due to space availability, industry participation is limited to five (5) personnel per company (inclusive of Business Units). The deadline for each company to submit a list of attending personnel (rank order with titles) is May 30, 2019. MDA Targets and Countermeasures Next Generation Threat Front End One-On-One Sessions, June 13, 2019 At industry partners request, the MDA TC Program Office will also host Classified One-On-One Sessions on June 13, 2019 in Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal) at the Von Braun Building #2, 5222 Martin Road starting at 8 am to 5 pm CST (note: location could change). The sessions will be limited to and scheduled for 45-minute block increments with no more than five (5) industry personnel attending. See Attachment 1 to request your 45-minute block. It is imperative that the industry partner VARs be on file and MDA has a list of industry partner attendees to verify clearance. As part of the request, each company should identify the topic(s) area to discuss during the One-On-One session. This will help MDA ensure the appropriate Subject Matter Experts are available to make the discussions meaningful and productive. The sessions will be able to discuss up to US SECRET. C. Pre-Registration Instructions In order to attend, industry participants must pre-register/RSVP no later than May 30, 2019 via e-mail to

For access to Redstone Arsenal, visitors will need to show identification at either Gate and proceed to the MDA Von Braun Building #2, 5222 Martin Road. Here are some additional information to enter Redstone Arsenal via Gate 9: 1. Enter Redstone Arsenal via Gate 9 from I-565 or Research Park Blvd. 2. If you have a current CAC or military ID card, proceed through any gate to Von Braun Building #2, 5222 Martin Road. If you do not have a CAC or military ID, You will have to summit your Social Security Number (SSN) to event POC 10 working days before event start time. Stop at Guard Station. Give your name, provide Driver's License to the security guard and state that you are attending a MDA event/ceremony. Your name should be on the Redstone Arsenal access list. If you do not want to give SSN to event POC you will have to go to the Visitor Center for access to Redstone Arsenal. Please allow up to an hour to get processed. 3. After you receive your vehicle pass/badge, continue through the gate and stay south on Rideout Road. (DO NOT follow sign to Von Braun Complex). 4. Travel approx. 3 miles to Martin Road (red-light) and turn left. 5. Travel to Mills Road intersection (red-light) and turn left on Mills Road. 6. Turn right at first entrance into VBII complex parking area. The MDA TC Program Office is in the process of establishing a robust Bidder's Library early to support understanding of requirements and for early proposal preparations.
