SOLE SOURCE AWARD

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to LAMAR ADVERTISING OF LOUISIANA, L.L.C. for billboard ads running in Albany and Buffalo, NY for twelve consecutive weeks. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued, and quotes are not being requested. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 13.106-1(b). This service is being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12, in conjunction of FAR Part 13. Justification: The IRS is expanding the public service message to billboards as a form of outreach to taxpayers giving them an avenue to report fraud and financial crimes anonymously and safely in Albany and Buffalo, NY. The location of the billboards must be in extremely high traffic areas where the most views can be attracted. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capabilities to meet the requirements by submitting capabilities statements in writing to the IRS Primary Point of Contact via email no later than Monday, August 23, 2021, by 12:00 PM, Pacific Day Time (PDT). It is solely within the discretion of the IRS to evaluate your capabilities, and to determine whether to compete this contract action.
